October Events on Television and Radio

08-Oct-2008

A few weeks ago NBC flew me to New York City to film a one hour program for the E! Network. The show concerns the "13 Greatest Curses in the Entertainment Industry." I was able to help with several of the dreaded thirteen curses. The episode is set to air sometime on October 24th on the E! Network. The show will be in rotation and should be seen a few times on Halloween alone. The episode discusses curses on films and artists. I have a list of the 13 in order but it may be fun to let you guess which ones made the show. If you've listened to my radio appearances I bet you can name three that I discuss on the air.

I have scheduled several radio interviews for next week, so if you get a chance tune in and speak to me. I'm recording a show with Alan Handelman tomorrow (October 9, 2008--John Lennon's birthday!) The show will be recorded and aired the night of October 19th at 10:00 PM (EST) on www.ifitrocks.com. Next week, the night of October 16th, I'll be appearing on the Richard Syrett Show in Toronto, Canada. You can listen to Richard's show at http://www.richardsyrett.com/. The show begins at 10:00 PM EST and will run to midnight. Online you can get Richard's call in number and give me a call.

Many of you have asked when I'll be back on Coast to Coast. I hope you caught my discussion with George over the recent appearance of "Eliza Presley," who claims to be Elvis' half sister. Not only that, she claims Elvis is alive going by the name of Jesse and was kind enough to give her some of his DNA. Thursday night October 23rd I should make a short appearance detailing my involvement in an upcoming special for the E! Network set to air on October 24th dealing with the 13 greatest entertainment curses.

In Early August I was in Los Angeles filming a ninety minute DVD of tales from the dark side. I play a little guitar and discuss some of my favorite tales from the rock and roll graveyard. Some of these stories I've never told on radio. If you'd like to order a DVD for $14.95 plus shipping and handling you can write for more information at info@MQMNetworks.com. If you include the phrase coast to coast you'll get a discount!

I hope to get a chance to speak with as many of you as possible in the next few weeks and hope you get a chance to check out the 13 Greatest Curses in the Entertainment Industry on the E! Network beginning October 24th. If NBC changes the date I'll send out a new email and re-schedule Coast to Coast but as of now the dates seem firm.

If you have any questions you'd like me to answer in a newsletter please send them to me.

Best Wishes,

Gary
